    How can my business become a supplier for H-E-B? Looking to become an H-E-B supplier? Complete this form to send your product or service directly to H-E-B buyers for consideration. After submission, a H-E-B Procurement Partner will make contact utilizing the information provided in the form. Please ensure that you meet the H-E-B supplier requirements . Are there specific requirements for diverse suppliers? Yes, to be identified as a certified “diverse supplier” doing business with H-E-B, a business owner must be certified through a regional or national agency certification agency as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), HUB zone, disability-owned, minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, LGBTQ+-owned business. H-E-B accepts certifications from organizations but not limited to; the South Texas Regional Certification Agency (CTRCA), National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). What types of products or services is H-E-B looking for?H-E-B seeks a wide range of products and services across all business units. This includes grocery items, household goods, personal care products, manufacturing products, industrial products and construction services. Most importantly, H-E-B is interested in innovative, scalable and sustainable products and services that align with H-E-B values. What resources does H-E-B provide to support diverse suppliers?H-E-B Supplier Diversity is affiliated with various resources that will provide support including business development programs that provide networking opportunities and access to procurement specialists. Through this network of community partners or hosted events and workshops, we support these organizations in assisting diverse suppliers navigate the supply chain and business landscape. Is there a specific timeline for the supplier selection process? There are no specific timelines in selecting suppliers. A procurement partner will reach out for more information. Generally, H-E-B strives to communicate with applicants as quickly as possible but advises being patient during the evaluation process. How can I stay updated on opportunities with H-E-B? To stay informed about H-E-B Supplier Diversity, regularly check H-E-B’s Supplier Diversity webpage, subscribe to our newsletter, and participate in our online and local business events via Eventbrite. Attend and network with other community organizations’ events where H-E-B and H-E-B Supplier Diversity are sponsors. What are BDOs (Business Development Organizations)? BDOs (Business Development Organizations) are key community partnerships that play a crucial role in supporting the growth and operational success of the Vendors and Suppliers of H-E-B's supply chain. BDOs provide training and technical assistance in understanding how to foster relationships with the public and private sectors like H-E-B. By fostering strong, mutually beneficial partnerships, they help ensure H-E-B's Suppliers and Vendors are prepared for sustainability and scalability that contribute to ensuring that H-E-B's supply chain is reliable and responsive to consumer demand. This leads to better product offerings, cost efficiencies, and a diverse assortment of high-quality goods for H-E-B customers. What is the Supplier Diversity Learning Management System (LMS)?H-E-B's Supplier Diversity Learning Management System (LMS) is an educational platform designed to provide H-E-B suppliers with business centric modules that assist in cultivating and expanding their business. How can I participate in LMS? All suppliers enrolled in LMS must be a current H-E-B supplier.
